I am a dedicated Medical professional with 15 years experience.  I am a Consultant Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology Consultant in Sheffield, a Honorary Clinical lecturer for the Universities of Plymouth and Sheffield. I also work with Health Education England to provide lectures on Dental Radiography and Radiology for dentists and DCPS on Mandatory legislation, interpretation of dental imaging for dentists and radiologists and CBCT training level 1 and interpretation.

Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology is a sub-specialty which focuses on the taking and interpretation of radiographs. It requires experience in both general practice and hospital settings and encompasses all the dental specialities and general head and neck radiology. Having previously worked in all the dental sub specialities I have dental experience in periodontology, oral surgery, oral medicine, paediatrics and restorative dentistry.
My job is heavily involved in cancer diagnosis and head and neck imaging as well as Dental radiology. Within my NHS job promoting education I am a clinical supervisor and lecture for general radiology trainees.

I also provide private IRMER and IRR training, CBCT interpretation mentorship and requested lectures.
I am an examiner for the RCS England MFDS examination and I am also a Health Education England Return to Work Champion. In this role I help medical trainees returning to work after a period of absence, mentoring them through the process and helping to ensure they are accessing all available support.

I have also just finished a masters in NHS Healthcare Leadership and Innovation which helps to navigate and effect my other roles.
Outside work I live in the peak district and enjoy walking, kayaking and camping outside and sewing inside.
